Anish created Top Tier Learning during his junior year at Neuqua Valley High School. He always loved helping the community, which he combined with his entrepreneurial spirit to come up with a solution to overpriced tutoring. Anish is now a Finance student at the University of Texas at Austin with hopes of becoming an Investment Banker. His hobbies include traveling, spending time with friends, and catching up on the latest episode of The Big Bang Theory.
Benji is a senior at Neuqua Valley High School. He enjoys serving the community and utilizing his communication skills and business knowledge to do so. He has served as the Illinois State President of Business Professionals of America and is also involved in many extracurricular activities such as Speech Team, Basketball, and Volleyball. Benji hopes to pursue his business aspirations when he attends college next year and intends on owning his own successful business in the future.
Christian is a Computer Science and Finance double major at the University of Texas at Austin. After graduation, Christian is planning on pursuing a career in software engineering or computational finance. His hobbies include swimming, running, watching sports, and attending concerts.
Reed Kurtenbach joined Top Tier Learning during his junior year of high school. He was praised by parents and students for his teaching ability and unique connection he makes with each student he teaches. Reed has now joined the executive team as the Chief Marketing Officer to help market and grow TTL to communities across America. He is a mechanical engineering student at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio while also managing to play college soccer.
Aris Sevastianos is an Accounting major and French minor at The University of Texas at Austin. A native St. Louisan, Aris joined Top Tier Learning in June 2016 and helped onboard multiple new branches around the area of his hometown. Additionally, he has helped rapidly calibrate TTL’s financial and technical infrastructure to accommodate their goals of nationwide expansion.
Giovanni Zinzi is a Business and Mathematics major at The University of Texas at Austin. After starting his own tutoring company, he joined Top Tier Learning as the Chief Development Officer. With Top Tier Learning, Giovanni hopes to extend affordable standardized test prep to all students across the nation. His hobbies include chess, working out, teaching, and cooking. He plans to pursue consulting after graduation.
Eric Spala is an Accounting and Financial Management major at Bucknell University. He joined Top Tier Learning his senior year of high school as branch manager of Berkeley Heights. Eric is now part of the team as a Vice President, working primarily on marketing.
Michelle joined Top Tier Learning at the end of her junior year as a tutor for the Austin branch. She is a Business major on a pre-medical track at the University of Texas at Austin. After graduation, she plans to attend medical school in hopes of pursuing a career as an anesthesiologist.
Raj Tank is focused on product development of devices and applications at Arvidion in the IOT (Internet of Things) space utilizing the cellular and satellite networks and providing location based services. Arvidion has successfully launched award winning products and services and continues to expand its product and service portfolio. Also, as the Vice President of Engineering for Cricket, Raj had responsibilities for all Engineering, Technology and Operations (ET&O) functions.
Currently, Melissa teaches undergraduate business communication in the top-ranked Department of Management at the McCombs School of Business. Previously, she taught professional communication skills and organizational communication for the Department of Communication Studies in the Moody College of Communication. Melissa has also held academic teaching positions in marketing technology innovations and converting technology to wealth for the M.S. Technology Commercialization programs.
Dr. Robert McBride currently serves as the principal of Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville, IL. His school serves approximately 3,900 students on a campus of two buildings, the Gold Building for freshman students and the Main Building for sophomore, junior, and senior students. Bob has served as the Principal of Glenbard East High School and the English Department Chair at Oak Park and River Forest High School. Bob’s academic interests are in curriculum and instruction as well as literature, particularly African American Literature. Bob earned his doctorate at Loyola University, and he defended a dissertation on mathematics education.
Adam Kirsch is the Chief Executive Officer of Yorango, a startup focused on developing software solutions for the real estate industry. Prior to launching Yorango, he founded and sold Beacon Records (now Daily Beat Media), a music marketing and management firm, and worked in consulting and marketing. In addition to advising Top Tier Learning, Adam has consulted with early-stage ventures as a Partner in the Life Changing Labs incubator in Ithaca, NY.He is an alumnus of Cornell University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Labor Relations and an MBA concentrating in Entrepreneurship & Private Equity.
Dr. Linda LaCoste is the Director of Executive MBA programs at Texas Christian University. In this role, she is responsible for the overall academic and co-curricular experience as well as study abroad programs. Linda also serves as faculty member for the Leadership Development course and as a certified coach, oversees the Executive MBA leadership development process. Prior to joining TCU, she served as the Chair of the Business Department and the Achieving the Dream Coordinator for Tarrant County College-Trinity River campus.
